Who is keyser söze

His first terrible deed is conducting a vengeful jewel heist to get back at the NYPD. But the real offense is what the heist leads to next; a trip to California to meet the flaky drug dealer Redfoot, which has its own unintended consequences.

When Verbal is being interrogated by Agent Kujan, he relays the wise-tale of Soze's frightening mythology. Whether it's true or not, few things are worse than what Soze did to his own family!

According to lore, Soze came home one day to find his wife beaten and raped and children endangered by Hungarian gangsters.

Without hesitation, Soze shot his wife and children dead before killing the Hungarians. Unsatisfied, Soze went on to slaughter every family member near and distant of the Hungarians who were bold enough to mess with his family. While we don't know it at the time his corpse is shown onscreen, Soze killing Fred Fenster Benicio del Toro is just one instance in a long lethal line of his unsurpassed evil. And just like everything Soze does, the subsequent outcome leads to more terrible misdeeds.

In this case, killing Fenster causes his main-man, McManus, to overreact and concoct a vindictive plot to murder Kobyashi. Once they attempt to do so, Kobayashi informs them of a blackmail plot led by Soze forcing them to seize the cocaine from the ship in San Pedro. Soze is always one step ahead! Despite Keaton's lawyerly girlfriend, Edie Finneran, being responsible for getting the titular Usual Suspects out of jail at the beginning of the movie, Soze shows no loyalty in return.

Since Finneran also represents Arturo Marquez, the one shipmate who can physically identify Soze, Keyser knows he has to eliminate both. While it's only mentioned in passing, Soze murders Finneran to avoid being implicated.

Keaton never learns who murdered his significant other but has his own suspicions in the end. Unfortunately, by then, it's too late. Actually, I am being hard on the movie when I say it has average visuals. They are better than average. It would be hard to guess the year of the movie from the visuals.

What I mean by average is no frame or shot strikes you as something special. Ditto with acting. With the exception of Kevin Spacey, all other actors are relatively unknown. They are good at their craft. A truck loaded with guns goes missing in New York. Cops roundup five suspects who are known criminals. When they are released, they get together to plan another robbery. One of these five men is Verbal Kint Kevin Spacey , a cripple. He is nicknamed Verbal because he talks too much.

Few twists and turns later, Verbal is in custody narrating what happened after they were released. Interrogating him is spacial agent Dave Kujan Chazz Palminteri. Is he real or is he an urban legend?

No one knows but everyone in the underworld is terrified of him. Even before Verbal is charged, pressure from above ensures that he will get complete immunity. Verbal declines. A movie is a narrative. On the night of the cocaine deal, the sellers a group of Argentine mobsters and the buyers a group of Hungarian mobsters are on the dock. Keaton tells Verbal to stay back, and to take the money to Edie if the plan goes awry so she can pursue Kobayashi "her way". Verbal reluctantly agrees, and watches the boat from a distance in hiding.

Keaton, McManus, and Hockney attack the men at the pier, killing most of them. Keaton and McManus board the ship to find the drugs while Hockney goes after a van carrying the cash, and is shot dead after he finds it. Keaton and McManus discover there is no cocaine on the boat, while a closely guarded Argentine passenger is shot twice in the head by an unseen assailant. McManus is killed with a knife to the back of his neck and Keaton, turning away to leave, is shot down by a man wearing a dark cloak and a wide-brimmed hat.

The mysterious figure appears to speak briefly with Keaton before apparently shooting him. He is convinced that Keaton has faked his death as he had done some years earlier to escape another investigation and deliberately left Verbal as a witness. Under Kujan's aggressive questioning, Verbal tearfully admits that the whole affair, from the beginning, was Keaton's idea, but he flatly refuses to testify further.

His bail having been posted, Verbal retrieves his personal effects a gold watch, gold lighter and pack of cigarettes from the property officer, as Kujan, relaxing in Rabin's office, realizes with a shock that details and names from Verbal's story are culled from various objects around the room - including Rabin's crowded bulletin board and the "Kobayashi Porcelain Company" logo on the bottom of his coffee cup. Meanwhile, Verbal walks away from the police station, dropping his feigned limp.

He gets into a waiting car driven by "Mr. Kobayashi", pulling away just as Kujan comes outside, searching in vain. Villains Wiki. Villains Wiki Explore. Top Content. Jester of Chaos BeholderofStuff Valkerone.
